Happy Halloween!

Anna had a fun Halloween! We road to town this morning with Grandma when she took Uncle Nels to work and ran some errands. Even though the weather was nasty we made the most of it by going over to Grandma Shirley's and making popcorn balls. We stopped to help Auntie Ally put baby Jacob in the car so she could drive over to Grandma's and join in on the fun since it was her idea. It was fun to hold the babies and hang out with grandma and great grandma. Anna missed her Auntie Ally holding her so she was happy to have her feed her a bottle and play. By the way the popcorn balls were delicious and fun!

After Daddy got home from work we rushed up to Grandma Des and Grandpa Ed's to show off Anna's ladybug costume. I had planned on making more stops but with the weather the way it was we stopped only there. We had a nice time just hanging out! We should do this more often...:)Grandma Des is in the background trying to find a cute cartoon for Anna while Grandpa Ed is keeping her occupied with her toys.
(Such a deprived child!)

Then it was dinner time. So Grandma Des fed her her peaches and cereal. Anna got off the hook with the veggies tonight!

Then it was Grandpa's turn to help her finish off her meal! She ate so well! Happy Halloween Everyone!

Sleepy Play Time

One more evening of bliss...:) She just finished her cereal with squash and bananas. She has quite the sweet tooth already hence the bananas with dinner. She found her thumb and a swing and off she went! What a life!

After her evening nap it was time for her nice warm monkey sleeper, but first a playful visit with her Uncle Nels. She adores her Uncle and the feeling is mutual. He can always find a smile in her that sometime no one else can. He seems to be that way with all of his neices and nephews.
Then it is time to roll around and find her feet. She is so much fun! She is changing so much and everyday is a new adventure.

Monkey sleeper time and shortly after this was taken Grandma wanted to feed her her last bottle before going home to go night, night.

Special Blanket

This was baby Anna after her wonderful breakfast and warm bath! Can you blame her. I rocked her to sleep in this special blanket made by our new neighbors daughter, Hailey! Thank you Hailey for such a beautiful blanket! It will come in very handy over the winter! The colors are terrific and Anna softly touches it as she drifts off to sleep. And I will come over so you can teach me how to make these. Great Christmas gift idea!

Breakfast Time!

Good morning baby Anna! I can't help but think that she really enjoys her breakfast. We just started cereal with fruit in the morning and then her bottle. This seems to make her mornings go more smoothly and we like that. Her facial expressions say it all!

The satisfied breakfast eater!

After her breakfast, warm bath and bottle, mom was called in to drive tractor for a few hours. Luckily grandma Shirley was able to take her from cousin Ryan's preschool Halloween program. Which I must add was very well done! Here is a picture of the little star! Great job Ryan!

Hi Grandpa and Welcome Ryan!

Today, we started with our usual errands but then we decided to surprise Grandpa Ed with a quick visit! As you can see Anna loves her visits to the office to give Grandpa loves. I know Grandpa enjoys them too! "Brightens my day" he says! But then again how could it not! Anna was so happy to see everyone.....Laurie, Daddy! What a great way to start off a busy day!

After our visit with Grandpa it was off to pick up cousin Ryan from preschool! He was such a big help with Anna. I even let him help me feed Anna her lunch. He fed her very carefully with her spoon and was so proud of himself. Good job Ryan! After we cleaned up from lunch we slowed down our pace before settling into nap mode. Ryan decided to get cousin Shelby's sleeping bag out and set up camp in the den with Anna watching near by. She can't get enough of him!

I didn't think I was going to get this picture because he was pretty sure he was not going to take a nap. I didn't pressure him but he finally got cozy enough and then it happened and here's the proof mommy! He took a good hour nap, a power nap as his daddy would call it! Shortly after he woke up Anna did also. Good thing because he kept asking for her. I promised a quick Fall project for him to do before going home so we all got bundled up and went outside to collect leaves. We came in and Ryan took all the leaves he found and glued them in the shape of a pumpkin. He wanted to make something for his baby brother so he was very proud of his work. His mommy probably will be posting his work on her blog. What a busy day but so much fun! Thanks for coming over Ryan!

Taking it Easy!

What a nice easy going day we had! It was nice to just enjoy our little Anna. She took a good nap in the morning, as you can see. We did not prop her kitty like that either just happened that way. So cute! After she woke up we got dressed and went to Target for baby food and Costco to develop some pictures. We got home just in time for lunch....cereal mixed with prunes and peaches for dessert. She ate every bite! Such a good girl.

Anna recieved a special goodie Halloween gift box from Grandma Patsy! She enjoyed looking and watching us show her the gifts but she latched on to her Halloween book quickly. Thank you for thinking of me Grandma Patsy!

After another good afternoon nap we all met over at Papa and Grandma's house for dinner and to watch baby Jacob sleep. Hope mommy and daddy enjoyed their outing. I would have taken a picture of the sweet little guy but I didn't want to wake him with the flash. While waiting for the little guy to arrive papa and Anna played.

After a delicious meal Grandma fed Baby Anna her last bottle for the day. Needless to say she was tired. Grandmas' sure have a way with grandbabies. Overall, today was alot of fun!

Bath time with Ducky's

Another fun and busy day! I don't think Anna would have it any other way! We got up and ran errands this morning and took Auntie Ally a Subway sandwich for lunch. I had to drive tractor out in the carrot field so Desiree was the lucky one who got Anna! Thanks Des! When I picked Anna up I was to meet my mom at my sister's and we were going to go to the grocery store but we got side tracked getting our baby fix so we just went home for dinner. I tricked her into eating her squash by adding her favorite, sweet potatoes. Both containers of food were eaten....hungry girl! After dinner she needed to get the orange color from the food off her face, neck, hands, ect.... so we had our bath with our light up rubber ducky's! She loves them!

Feeling Playful

Today Anna had another busy day! We went to the store with Grandma and then we picked up cousin Ryan from preschool and Great Grandma from the hair salon! We came home and had applesauce and cereal, then a full bottle and off to dream land!! While Anna slept I made dinner and some yummy chocolate chip cookies for Allison and Jeff. They have been enjoying and recovering from having baby Jacob on Monday! Have I mentioned how cute he is! It is amazing how fast they grow! They are "so cool" as Ryan likes to say about his new baby brother! Anyways, after a long day of going Anna enjoyed playing with her new fuzzy friend. Uncle Greg gave her this fun little animal and Anna really loved playing with it!

Anna's 6 months today!

Anna is 6 months old today! She had a very busy day! Since I had to drive tractor this morning she had breakfast with Grandma. While Grandma got her hair done she went over to her Auntie Kim's and napped and played. She has her third tooth trying to make its entrance so she was a little fussy! I was able to leave a little early so I went and picked Anna up to take her to get her 6 month shots. Poor baby! We stopped by to see my sister's new baby boy, Jacob at the hospital before going home. She couldn't get comfy so we went for a long walk over to see papa's new herd of baby cattle he just purchased. She enjoyed that and on the way home she finally fell asleep. She then got to play with daddy and have sweet potatoes for dinner. To top off her evening she had a nice warm bath and drank a full bottle. What a day!
